Knee Pain

Knee pain can have various causes, and it′s important to consult a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. However, here are a few common causes of knee pain:

Injury: Knee injuries, such as sprains, strains, torn ligaments (like the anterior cruciate ligament or ACL), or meniscus tears, can result from accidents, sports activities, or sudden movements.

Osteoarthritis: This condition occurs when the protective cartilage in the knee joint wears down over time, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility.

Rheumatoid arthritis: It is an autoimmune disease that affects the joints, including the knees. It causes inflammation, pain, swelling, and stiffness.

Tendinitis: Inflammation of the tendons around the knee, such as patellar tendinitis (jumper′s knee), can cause pain, especially during activities that involve jumping or running.
